Speakers:
Dan advises clients on e-discovery best practices and motion practice, litigation readiness plans, defensible data disposition programs, and data privacy concerns, with an emphasis on cross-border data transfers. Dan is a certified E-Discovery Specialist (ACEDS) and an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). Prior to joining TLS, Dan was a Commercial Litigation Partner at an Am Law 100 firm and the Founder and Chair of the firm’s E-Discovery & Information Governance practice group. Dan’s commercial litigation practice covered a range of complex business disputes before federal and state courts, including cross-border, corporate governance, bankruptcy, securities, breach of contract, and business tort cases.
Devon is an experienced forensics examiner having worked with various types of digital devices and cloud-based data. Prior to joining TLS, Devon earned her master’s degree in digital forensics from DeSales University, then went on to work as a Digital Forensic Examiner with the Philadelphia and Lehigh County District Attorney’s Offices. Devon is considered an expert witness in matters relating to digital forensics. She has taught various digital forensics graduate and undergraduate courses at DeSales University.
Daniel has over five years’ experience conducting forensic examinations across various digital evidence types. Prior to joining TLS, Daniel worked as a Forensics and Integrity Services Manager for EY, where he analyzed and investigated digital devices of evidentiary value related to active investigations held for private and court matters. Daniel leveraged industry standard digital forensic tools to investigate mobile devices, computers, and tablets, as well as social media and cloud-based data. Daniel is TLS’s first Canada-based forensics hire. Joining the Toronto office, Daniel expands TLS’s global network of forensic, e-discovery, and legal document review facilities.
