Applications are invited for one (01) position of Senior Research Fellow in the ICMR (EMR) funded project entitled “Animal toxin peptides: Novel therapeutics for targeting mitochondrial permeability transition pore in cerebral ischemia” (Principal Investigator: Prof. Suhel Parvez, Department of Medical Elementlogy & Toxicology, School of Chemical & Life Sciences, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi).
Essential qualifications
1) First class M.Sc. (Toxicology/Forensic Sciences)/M.Pharm. (Pharmacology).
2) Two years research experience for M.Sc. applicants.
Desirable
1) Experience in neuroscience/pharmacology/animal handling and
2) publications in SCI-indexed journals.
Emoluments
As per ICMR norms.
Tenure
Initially for a period of one year with the provision of further continuation (till duration
of the project) subjected to satisfactory performance of the fellow.
