Dhani Ram Mittal, also known as the Indian Charles Sobhraj, was a highly educated criminal who stole over 1000 cars and even acted as a judge using fake documents, releasing over 2000 criminals. Despite being highly educated, including being a law graduate, handwriting specialist, and graphologist.
He has been arrested again for vehicle theft, less than two months after his release from jail. Mittal has a long history of criminal activities, with over 130 vehicle theft cases attributed to him over the years.
Mittal gained notoriety for stealing over 1000 cars, with a unique signature of operating only in broad daylight and primarily in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and nearby areas. He went as far as impersonating an additional session judge of the Jhajjar court, sending the real judge on holiday and releasing over 2000 criminals using fake documents before disappearing.
Despite his cunning schemes, Mittal’s whereabouts remain unknown, and he has been in and out of jail for most of his life.
