5. Senior Scientific Officer (NDPS):03 Vacancy in Pay Scale FPL-9, Cell-1, Rs. 53100-167800/-

Upper Age Limit

Candidates belonging to the General/HR Category should have attained Minimum 20 Years and must not exceed 45 Years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for the Candidates under different Communities as per the Rule (mentioned in HPSC Recruitment Advertisement).

Educational Qualification

Senior Scientific Officer (Toxicology)

Educational Qualifications: The Candidate should have in possession M.Sc. (with Minimum 1st Division) in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/ Toxicology/Forensic Science or its Equivalent Qualification in Any One of the fore-stated Subjects issued by any Duly Recognized University;

Essential: Three years’ Research/Analytical Experience in the domain of Forensic Toxicology and;

Desirable: Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculate Standard or Higher Education.

Senior Scientific Officer (Serology)

Educational Qualifications: The Applicant should be holding M.Sc. (with Minimum 2nd class) in Zoology/Botany/Physical Anthropology/Human Biology/ Human Genetics Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Molecular Biology and Bio-Chemistry/Molecular Biology/ Micro-Biology/ Forensic Science or Equivalent Qualification in Any One of the fore-stated Subjects.

Essential: 03 years’ Research/Analytical Experience in any of the fore-stated Subjects.

Desirable: Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculate Standard or Higher Education.

Senior Scientific Officer (Documents)

M.Sc. (at least 2nd Class) in Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Chemistry/Forensic
Science or equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects

Essential : 3 year research & analytical experience in any of the above subjects;

Desirable : Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education.

Senior Scientific Officer (Explosive)

(i)M.Sc. (at least 1st Division) in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Forensic
Science.
(ii) Three years research and analytical experience in any of the above subjects and
(iii) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education.

Senior Scientific Officer (NDPS)

(i) M.Sc. (1st Division) in Chemistry/Forensic Science or equivalent qualification in
any of the above subjects;
(ii) Three year research/analytical experience in relevant subject;
(iii) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education

Assistant Director (DNA)

(i) M.Sc. (1st Division) or Ph.D in Zoology/ Physical Anthropology/Genetics / Bio-Chemistry/Bio technology/ Micro-Biology/Molecular Biology/Forensic Science or its equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects/disciplines; with Zoology/Botany as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level.
ii) Eight years analytical /research experience in DNA Finger Printing; and
iii) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education;

Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics)

(i)M.Sc. (at least 2nd class) in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Chemistry/ Forensic Science or equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects.
(ii) 3 years research and analytical experience in any of the above subjects.
(iii) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education.
