FSL Karnataka Recruitment for Scientific Officers in Various Divisions 2021

Karnataka State Police has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Scientific Officers in Forensic Science Laboratories in Bengaluru and its Regional Office.

Age Limit

General – 21 to 35 years

OBC – 21 to 28 years

SC, ST, CAT -1 – 21 to 40 years

Educational Qualification and Experience

1.Scientific Officer in Chemistry Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / pharmacology / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Chemical secience with atleast 55% agreegate marks

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

2.Scientific Officer in Narcotics Section :
Scientific Officer in Narcotics Section : Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Pharmacology / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Chemical science with at least 55% aggregate marks.

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

3.Scientific Officer in Physical Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with atleast 55% agreegate marks.

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

4.Scientific Officer in DNA Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Forensic Science or Equivalent qualification in Bio-science with atleast 55% agreegate marks

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

6.Scientific Officer in Fire Arms Section : Scientific Officer in Fire Arms Section : Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with at least 55% aggregate marks.

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

7.Scientific Officer in Questioned Documents Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics or Equivalent qualification in Physical Science / Chemistry or equivalent qualification in Chemical Science / Forensic Science / or equivalent / subjects with at least 55% aggregate marks.

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

8.Scientific Officer in Forensic Psychology Section :
Must be a holder of M.Sc., Degree in Psychology or its equivalent qualification / subjects with specialization in Forensic Psychology / Clinical Psychology with atleast 55% agreegate marks

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

9.Scientific Officer in Computer Forensic Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer science / Electronics / Physics / Forensic Science / Information Science or Technology / Equivalent qualification in Physical Science with at least 55% aggregate marks

M.Tech degree from any recognized university in Computer Science/ Electronics / Information Science or Technology / Telecommunication / Equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks

10.Scientific Officer in Mobile Forensics Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Physics / Forensic Science / Information Science or Technology / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with at least 55% aggregate marks

M.Tech degree from any recognized university in Computer Science / Electronics / Information Science or Technology / Telecommunication / Equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

11.Scientific Officer in Audio Video Forensics Section :
Scientific Officer in Audio Video Forensics Section : Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronic / Physics / Forensic Science / Information Science or Technology / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with atleast 55% agreegate marks

M.Tech degree from any recognized university in Computer Science/ Electronics / Information Science or Technolodgy / Telecommunication / Equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks

With

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

12.Scientific Officer in Toxicology Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / pharmacology / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Chemical science with at least 55% aggregate marks

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

13. Scientific Officer in Biology Section :
Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Botony / Zoology / Bio Chemistry / Microbiology/ Life Science / Forensic Science or Equivalent qualification in Bio science with at least 55% agreegate marks

Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

14. Scientific Officer in Photography Section :
(1) Must possess a Bachelor degree in Science.
(2) Must be a Diplma/Degree holder in Cinematography or Photography or in their equivalent qualification subjects granted by an institution recognized by the Government.
(3) Must have at least two years of practical experience in photography / videography and handling of Audio Video tools in any organization recognized by the Government.
