Drexel’s Division of Behavioral Healthcare Education will be hosting the 32nd Annual Forensic
Conference, which will be held virtually on December 4 –5, 2024. The Conference Committee
invites you to submit an abstract for a 60-minute workshop, which will consist of 50 minutes of
presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A. All presenters will be able to attend the full conference
free of charge. Presenters are encouraged to illustrate this year’s theme in their proposal:
Why Present?
- Showcase Your Expertise: Share your knowledge on forensic treatment, debunk myths, and present evidence-based facts to a diverse audience.
- Expand Your Network: Engage with professionals and scholars in the forensic and behavioral health fields.
- Complimentary Attendance: All selected presenters can attend the full conference at no cost.
What They’re Looking For:
- Workshop Presentations: Drexel University invite you to submit a proposal for a 60-minute workshop, which includes 50 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A.
- Relevant Topics: Presentations should align with the theme: Forensic Treatment: What We Know – Myths or Facts.
How to Apply:
- Submit by August 31, 2024: Email your proposal to Anna Auch at aa45@drexel.edu.
- Include:
- Workshop title
- Presenter details (name, degree, position, agency, contact information)
- A brief 60-75 word description of your proposal
- Three educational objectives for your presentation
- Level of presentation (Introductory, Intermediate, Advanced, All levels)
- A one-page resume or CV of each presenter
- Preference for a live webinar or pre-recorded session
