A dentist maintains his patient’s record regarding all the diagnostic information and contains valuable information that can be beneficial to the dentist as well as forensic odontologists during forensic human identification as seen in cases of mass disaster or in a highly decomposed corpse.
Therefore, it is of significance that an forensic odontologist is well aware of how the teeth are recorded in the chart.
