CSIR Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute is inviting applications for the post of Scientific Administrative Assistant.

Graduate degree in any discipline including B. Sc. Or B. Com. Or B.C.A. Or B.A. etc.
The candidates must have undergone computer certificate course (CCC) with hands on MS Office.
The candidates having one-year experience related to administrative/financial/purchase in Industrial/Academic/Government Institutions and Scientific Activities and Services are desirable.
The candidates having excellent command in speaking and writing the languages (Hindi/English/Gujarati) are preferable.
Furthermore, the candidate should have a good typing speed and must be fluent in computer use including typing (Hindi/English/Gujarati). These may be tested at the time of selection procedure.
Rs. 18,000 + HRA
The upper age limit is 50 years as on last date of application.
The selected candidates will have to support scientific administrative work in different divisions of the institute. The candidate has to be versatile enough to move frequently from one office/premises to another while handling documents.
Selected candidates are expected to perform data entry, communicate with other scientific/administrative divisions of the institute for smooth functioning of departmental activities, translate documents /draft letters from one language to another, and carry out the work assigned by the authority.

The position is purely temporary for 1 year and may be extendable based on the performance, requirement, and fund availability. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
