Call for Papers – NFSU Journal of Forensic Justice (Vol. 4, Issue 1)

The School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar invites submissions for the upcoming issue (January–June 2025) of its peer-reviewed NFSU Journal of Forensic Justice (eISSN: 2584-0924).

This multidisciplinary journal provides a platform for scholars, professionals, and students to explore the intersection of law, forensic science, and policy. With a focus on forensic applications in justice delivery, the journal seeks to promote meaningful dialogue and innovation in forensic governance.

What You Can Write About

You’re invited to submit original research, commentaries, and book reviews in any of the following broad areas:

🔹 Procedural Forensics – Reviews of laws, procedural safeguards, trial fairness
🔹 Investigation – Crime scene management, tech-enhanced investigations
🔹 Judicial Aspects – Admissibility, comparative legal analysis
🔹 Scientific Domains – Ballistics, DNA, digital forensics, toxicology, behavioral forensics
🔹 Anthropology & Wildlife Forensics – Human remains, illegal wildlife trade
🔹 Global & Conflict Zones – Humanitarian forensics, war crime documentation
🔹 Criminal Justice Systems – E-courts, CCTNS, access to justice, tech innovations

You may also choose a relevant interdisciplinary topic beyond the ones listed.

Types of Submissions

Research Articles: 6000–8000 words
Notes/Comments: 3000–4000 words
Book Reviews: 1500–2500 words

Submissions must be original, unpublished, and follow the OSCOLA 4th Edition referencing style.

Formatting Checklist

Submit in Word format (.doc/.docx only)
Include an abstract (≤250 words) and 5 keywords
No author identifiers in the manuscript (for blind review)
Use Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing
Follow structured heading styles and justified alignment
